Earlier this month, filmmaker Ektaa Kapoor subtly criticized actor Ram Kapoor, who refuted allegations regarding his use of Ozempic for weight loss. The ongoing tension between them has escalated, as Ram's wife, Gautami Kapoor, has responded to Ektaa in a recent video.

Gautami Kapoor mimics Ektaa Kapoor

Gautami Kapoor took to Instagram to share a video in which she humorously imitated Ektaa. In the clip, Gautami offered a sarcastic response to Ektaa's veiled remark about her husband. She questioned, "Should I follow an anti-inflammatory diet? Should I consider Mounjaro? Should I use Ozempic, or perhaps all of these options? Or should I simply keep quiet? However, I believe the gym is sufficient for me." She wrapped up her commentary by poking fun at Ektaa’s show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, stating, "Because we prefer the small ones, not the big ones."

In the caption accompanying the video, Gautami expressed, "Let people do what they enjoy... live and let live... ultimately, what truly matters is health, happiness, and peace (sic)." She included the hashtags #nojudgement #onlygoodvibe #livelifekingsize.

Ram amazed everyone with his remarkable weight loss journey. However, numerous online users speculated whether he was using Ozempic. In a video clarification, Ram asserted that he is not taking Ozempic and has dedicated significant effort to his fitness. Shortly thereafter, Ektaa appeared to make a subtle jab at him through her own video, stating, “What should I do? I’ve put on quite a bit of weight. Should I try an anti-inflammatory diet? Mounjaro? Ozempic? All of the above? Keep my mouth shut? Or should I just accept myself? Because I look good as I am!” In her caption, she added: “Shall we go for Ozempic?”

The exchange between Ram and Ektaa escalated after the actor claimed in an interview that Ektaa had orchestrated the bold scene featuring him and Sakshi Tanwar in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. In response, and without directly naming him, Ektaa retorted, "Unprofessional actors discussing my shows in interviews should remain silent! Misinformation and distorted narratives can only persist until I speak... but there is dignity in silence."
