Gautami Kapoor, the wife of actor Ram Kapoor, recently posted a video in which she humorously imitates Ektaa Kapoor, following the filmmaker's comments regarding Ram's weight loss. In a conversation with Vickey Lalwani, Gautami clarified that the video was created solely for entertainment purposes and not as an act of "vengeance or revenge."

Gautami explained that the intention behind the video was not to retaliate against Ektaa's remarks. She remarked, "Social media has exaggerated this situation, leading to a debate among people. My goal was to create something that would make people laugh, not to suggest any rivalry or fallout. There is no animosity here. Everyone should relax; it’s not always about competition—sometimes it’s just about having fun. It’s a brief 30-second video; watch it, enjoy it, and then move on! I believe people are taking it more seriously than either Ektaa or I do."

Gautami disclosed that she did not inform her husband, Ram about the video she posted. Reflecting on his response, she stated, “Fortunately for him, he was not present at the time. When he returned, he was overwhelmed with thousands of messages from around the globe, including from the media and fans. Upon seeing the video, he remarked, ‘Good for you. Just don’t involve me in this, as it concerns you, Ektaa, and social media. There’s no need to pull me into it.’ There is no reason to involve him; it is trivial. People are exaggerating the situation. Life encompasses more than fabricated rivalries or nonexistent animosities.”

Previously, Ektaa appeared to make a comment directed at Ram after he clarified that he is not using Ozempic and has achieved his fitness through hard work. In her video, Ektaa expressed, “What should I do? I’ve gained a significant amount of weight. Should I try an anti-inflammatory diet? Mounjaro? Ozempic? All of the above? Should I keep quiet? Or just let it go? I look good as I am.” In her caption, she added: “Should I consider Ozempic?”

A few days later, Gautami created a video imitating Ektaa, captioning it, "Let people do what they enjoy... Live and let live... ultimately, what matters is health, happiness, and peace." She included the hashtags: #nojudgement #onlygoodvibe #livelifekingsize.

On the professional front, Gautami was last featured in the web series Gyaarah Gyaarah, which is based on the Korean drama Signal. The series also stars Kritika Kamra, Raghav Juyal, Dhairya Karwa, and Aakash Dixit in prominent roles and is available for viewing on ZEE5.
