Traditionally, Nilanjana and Jisshu U Sengupta have been hosting Ganesh Puja on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi for years. However, the couple is having a tiff right now and they are living separately. Meanwhile, Ganesh Puja took place at their place like the other years. 

Every time, Jisshu and Nilanjana's friends come to the ceremony at their place. Their industry friends, like Srijit Mukherji, Rahul Arunodoy Banerjee, Rudranil Ghosh, Indrasish Roy, and many others, were seen being part of the celebration. But this time, the Puja took place without Jisshu. 

Their marriage is on the rocks. Their friends did not come this time. Also, Nilanjana lost her mother Anjana Bhowmik this year. Hence the Puja was not done in grandeur. Nilanjana only maintained the basic rituals. The photo was seen in the Insta Stories of Nilanjana, Sara, and Chandana, Nilanjana's sister. The photo had the caption: “May 'Vighnaharta' remove obstacles from everyone's lives.”

This year, their family Puja seemed to have lost its charm. Each year, Jisshu and Nilanjana were seen together, decked up for the Puja. They went to the bhasan together. Nilanjana has been posting the last year's Ganesh Puja photos for the last few days. Many fans asked her whether the couple would not be seen together. Jisshu and Nilanjana’s fans are also sad about their breakup. 

Meanwhile, a series of Tollywood celebrities were seen worshipping Ganapati Bappa. Dev posted a photo of Ganesha idol from his office. Dev and Jisshu will be seen in their film, Khadaan, which is scheduled to release this winter. In the film, the duo will be seen as friends. The film also features Idhikha Paul, Barkha Bisht, and others.
