Gabriel Iglesias, the famous comedian, has a new stand-up special on the way! His last show, Gabriel Iglesias: Stadium Fluffy, was a hit at Dodger Stadium, and earlier this year, he signed a deal for two specials. The first one was filmed at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood back in July.

Netflix, the streaming giant behind the special, has announced that it will be called Legend of Fluffy and will be available to viewers worldwide on January 7, 2025. Known for his hilarious storytelling and impressive sound effects, Iglesias will share funny tales about life's ups and downs, covering everything from dating mishaps to home break-ins and wild flights in this upcoming special.

Iglesias is hitting his 27th year as a comedian and has made quite a name for himself, being one of the top earners in the game and a major hit on YouTube. Earlier this year, there were whispers about him possibly retiring after his sold-out Stadium Fluffy show. Following that massive success, he started to think about stepping away from the spotlight.

In a YouTube video, he opened up about these retirement thoughts, mentioning that it crossed his mind right after the show. “It was a real topic of discussion because I was like, ‘What’s next?’...I still have some energy left and I genuinely enjoy what I do, but it’s tough to admit that you feel like you’ve reached your peak. Like, I’ve jumped the shark. So what’s next? I mean, I’d need a call from Elon Musk saying, ‘Hey, want to do 5 minutes in space?’” Iglesias shared.

His Don’t Worry Be Fluffy tour was thought to be his final one back then. The Legend of Fluffy was filmed during this tour. With one more special on the way, it seems the comedian still has some energy left.
