GV Prakash on his relationship with Divya Bharathi: We have nothing to do

Actors GV Prakash and Divya Bharathi are reuniting for the forthcoming film Kingston, a high-budget sea fantasy adventure. The film is scheduled to be released on March 7. This collaboration follows their previous project, Bachelor, and has sparked numerous rumours regarding a romantic relationship between the two, which some speculate may have contributed to GV Prakash's divorce from singer Saindhavi.
During the promotional activities for Kingston, GV Prakash addressed these rumours directly, stating, “I want to clarify that we are not dating and we are just good friends. I met her on set and have interacted with her during interviews. The success of Bachelor has led to such speculation. We have no romantic involvement.”
Divya Bharathi expressed her surprise at the backlash she faced following GV Prakash's divorce announcement, noting that she was unfairly targeted. “It was challenging for me, as I never anticipated that I would be blamed for their separation. Immediately after the announcement, I received messages from numerous women holding me responsible for his divorce. I did not foresee this, and ultimately, it seems that the blame is directed solely at women,” she remarked.
