Music composer, vocalist, and actor GV Prakash Kumar, along with singer Saindhavi, came together for a concert in Malaysia following their recent divorce. The couple had been married for 11 years before their separation earlier this year. Fans were deeply touched to witness their performance of "Pirai Thedum" from the romantic drama "Mayakkam Enna," featuring Dhanush.

Saindhavi and Prakash recently showcased the song for which they originally provided vocals in 2011. As the composer accompanied on the piano, the singer captivated the audience with a moving performance. A video of this moment circulated on X (formerly Twitter), evoking nostalgia and emotion among fans who were delighted to witness their collaboration once more.

Some fans expressed regret for not attending the concert, with one individual stating, “I dislike crowds, the waiting game, and queuing for long periods, which is why I have never attended concerts. However, for the first time, I regret not going to GV Prakash’s concert just for the GV & Saindhavi duo.” Another remarked, “The song Pirai Thedum resonates deeply now, especially following their separation.”

In May of this year, Prakash and Saindhavi publicly declared their separation. They issued a statement on social media that confirmed the speculation surrounding their split. In this statement, they indicated that the decision was made after considerable contemplation and introspection. Prakash further elaborated that their decision to part ways was motivated by a desire for mental peace and well-being, stemming from mutual respect. He also requested privacy as they navigate this transition. Prakash and Saindhavi have shared a friendship since childhood, married in 2013, and welcomed their daughter, Anvi, in 2020.
