Aditi Rao Hydari on Reuniting with Imtiaz Ali

Imtiaz Ali, celebrated for his compelling narratives and poignant depictions of relationships in films such as Tamasha, Rockstar, Jab We Met, and Love Aaj Kal, will serve as the Creator, Writer, and Showrunner for the series O Saathi Re. He will also take on the role of Executive Producer alongside Mohit Choudhary. The direction of the series will be handled by Arif Ali, known for his work on the Netflix series She. Additionally, viewers can look forward to Salman Khan's Eid releases available on OTT platforms, including Dabangg and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

When Aditi Rao Hydari was inquired about her collaboration with Imtiaz Ali, she expressed, “Oh my God, he is so incredible. I am such a big fan of his and Chamkila. He is winning all the awards for Amar Singh Chamkila, and very deservingly so. I am so excited to be working with him. He is very special in the way he thinks, the way he layers, the nuances—it's just so incredible just to listen to him.”

Reflecting on her award for portraying Bibbojaan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series Heeramandi, Aditi Rao Hydari remarked, “It feels amazing and very, very special. This award is truly for Sanjay sir and the entire Heeramandi team—for all the love on set, for the creative process, and for including me in that vision. This experience is incredibly special, and the entire journey has been remarkable. When such moments occur, I genuinely feel very blessed.”

She also spoke about the best compliments she received for the show. She said, “I have to say there were many. Each one of them was special. But I think the most special would always be from the director himself. When you see a twinkle in Sanjay sir’s eyes and when he gives you that hug, that is the biggest compliment.
