Sofia Carson has been appointed as a Screen Actors Guild award ambassador, teaming up with Noah Centineo. She's being celebrated for her positive impact and advocacy work. This recognition follows an incredible year for Sofia, highlighted by her impressive role in Netflix’s Carry On and her collaboration with BTS' Jimin on the popular track Slow Dance.

Carson can't stop raving about teaming up with BTS's Jimin

In a chat with HELLO! Magazine, Carson opened up about her time working with Jimin. She mentioned, “Jimin is such a unique person with a genuinely kind heart. His team really wants to ensure that everyone who collaborates with him feels that connection, and I felt so honored when they shared that with me. We had an amazing experience together; they even flew me out to Seoul to film the video, and he truly has the kindest spirit. I’m really thankful for that.”

The collaboration kicked off after Jimin heard Carson’s vocals while watching Purple Hearts. His team reached out to her to make it happen. Carson also shared her admiration for the BTS star, saying, “It’s true—Jimin watched Purple Hearts! I was told he loved my voice and thought it would be a great match for him.”

There might be another collaboration coming up between Carson and Jimin

Carson was asked about the possibility of teaming up with Jimin again after their track "Slow Dance," and she simply said, “We’ll see.” She also expressed her excitement about collaborating with a member of Blackpink, calling her “amazing.” Carson mentioned, “I'm really into what they're doing," according to HELLO! Magazine.

On another note, the trailer for Carson’s upcoming movie, The Life List, has just dropped. She shared that it’s “one of my proudest projects that I get to show off to everyone.”
