Actor Naga Chaitanya is preparing for the premiere of his forthcoming film, Thandel. He attended the trailer launch event in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, during which he spoke about his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala. He affectionately referred to her as Vizag ammayi (Vizag girl) and expressed his optimism that the film will achieve significant success at the box office in Vizag.

At the trailer launch event, Naga Chaitanya took to the stage to welcome the audience. He expressed, "Vizag holds a special place in my heart, as I fell in love with a girl from Vizag and married her. Now, a part of Vizag resides in my home as well. In fact, the dominant influence in my household is Vizag. Therefore, my dear friends, I have a humble request—Thandel must perform exceptionally well at the Vizag box office; otherwise, I risk losing my reputation at home. Thank you!" Following his remarks, enthusiastic cheers erupted from the fans in support of Naga.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala exchanged vows on December 4, surrounded by their close friends and family at the renowned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The wedding ceremony was a lively representation of Telugu traditions, with various rituals conducted under the supervision of family elders.

After their nuptials, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita made their inaugural public appearance as a married couple on December 6 at the Srisailam temple in Andhra Pradesh.

In the film Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Chaitanya portrays a fisherman from Srikakulam. The cast also includes Sai Pallavi. Produced by Bunny Vasu under the banner of Geetha Arts and presented by Allu Aravind, Thandel narrates the true story of fishermen who inadvertently drift into Pakistani waters. Although initially scheduled for release during Sankranthi, the film's release has been postponed to February 7. It will be available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
