Actor Saif Ali Khan experienced a fortunate escape after an intruder stabbed him at his residence last month. The actor sustained six stab wounds, two of which were particularly deep; however, he managed to leave the incident without sustaining any severe injuries. Many have questioned why a prominent figure like him lacks security measures or personal weapons. In response to this situation, his youngest son, Jeh, is already training for a potential similar emergency, opting to use a plastic sword as his chosen means of defense.

Jeh's reaction to attack on Saif Ali Khan

In a recent interview with Delhi Times, Saif discussed the family's response following the incident. "The children are fine, thank goodness. Jeh has given me a plastic sword, instructing, ‘Keep this by your bed for the next time the thief comes.’ He remarked, ‘Geeta saved Abba, and Abba saved me.’ Taimur has expressed some concern regarding security. Sara was quite emotional, and Ibrahim also displayed heightened emotions, more than usual. He has been spending considerable time with me, which has been quite nice for the family to unite (laughs), though it has understandably been a shock for everyone," the actor shared. Saif further noted that his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor, is 'remaining very strong' but is 'disturbed about matters concerning security.'

Saif was hospitalized at Lilavati Hospital for a duration of five days, during which he underwent two surgical procedures. The medical team indicated that they needed to remove a fragment of the knife from his back and address a leak in his spinal fluid. He was released from the hospital on January 21. Earlier this month, he made his first public appearance following the attack at a Netflix India event. With his neck wrapped in bandages and his hand in a cast, Saif took the opportunity to promote his forthcoming film, Jewel Thief.
