YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, known as Flying Beast, recently made an appearance on Season 4 of Shark Tank India to present his fitness and wellness brand, BeastLife. Unfortunately, he faced rejection from the investors. Gaurav also took part in a panel discussion at IIT Delhi alongside Azhar Iqubal from InShorts, where he shared insights about his experience on the show and speculated on the potential impact of Ashneer Grover's presence during the pitch.

What Gaurav said

During the conversation, both Gaurav Taneja and Azhar Iqubal were inquired about their perspectives on Shark Tank India. Azhar Iqubal expressed that it is not imperative for him to comprehend every business proposal presented to him. However, he endeavours to invest in ventures that he can grasp, making his selections with careful consideration. Gaurav remarked that he finds Azhar to be quite 'charming.' When a member of the audience called out Anupam's name, Gaurav responded, “He is also very endearing, but the affection is from my side.”

Gaurav on Ashneer

When a member of the audience remarked that Ashneer Grover should have been present for their interaction, Gaurav responded, “It would have certainly been enjoyable. However, Sony TV would have likely edited our discussion.” 

During the pitch, Gaurav was accompanied by his business partner, Raj Gupta. He requested ₹1 crore in exchange for a 1% equity stake in his startup, which specializes in easily digestible protein supplements. Anupam Mittal appeared dissatisfied with the pitch, stating, “You are an effective influencer, but entrepreneurship cannot be delegated.” 

Previously, Gaurav addressed his sales figures on his YouTube channel, clarifying that he does not generate ₹1 crore in a single hour; this figure pertains to revenue rather than profit.
