Pakistani celebrities respond to the Pahalgam attack

Fawad Khan shared his feelings on Instagram Stories, saying he was really upset about the terrible attack in Pahalgam. He mentioned, 'I'm heartbroken to hear about this awful incident. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families, wishing them strength and healing during this tough time.' His post comes as he faces backlash along with Vaani Kapoor for their upcoming movie Abir Gulaal, amid rising political tensions between India and Pakistan.

Hania Aamir, the actress, was quick to respond to the incident like many other Pakistani celebrities. She shared on her Instagram story, "A tragedy anywhere affects us all. My heart goes out to the innocent lives impacted by the recent events. In our pain, grief, and hope, we stand united. The loss of innocent lives is a shared sorrow—it touches us all. Regardless of our backgrounds, grief is a universal language. Let's always choose humanity."

Mawra Hocane, the star from Sanam Teri Kasam, expressed her heartfelt sympathy for the families impacted, saying, 'When one suffers from terrorism, we all do... It's heartbreaking to see what's going on in the world'.

Farhan Saeed shared his deep condolences for the victims and their families in Pahalgam.

Usama Khan took to X, which used to be Twitter, to express his thoughts, saying, "My deepest sympathies to the families and friends of the #PahalgamAttack victims. I hope they find the strength they need during this tough time. Terrorism is unacceptable no matter where it happens, be it in Pakistan, India, or anywhere else. We need to unite against this kind of pointless violence."

Regarding the assault

At least 26 people were killed when terrorists attacked tourists in a beautiful valley area on Tuesday afternoon, marking one of the deadliest terror incidents in Kashmir. The shooting occurred around 3 pm in Pahalgam's Baisaran, targeting innocent civilians. Union home minister Amit Shah visited the site on Wednesday and stated that the nation will not yield to terrorism, promising that those responsible for this terrible act will face justice. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also convened a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security to assess the situation.
