Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his 49th birthday on Wednesday, receiving warm wishes from his colleagues in the film industry. Director Farah Khan, who collaborated with him on the film Happy New Year, shared an endearing video on Instagram, expressing her affection with a playful birthday greeting.

After this affectionate display, she stepped away, leaving Abhishek smiling. He then humorously cupped his cheek with his hand at the conclusion of the video.

Farah expressed her affection in the caption, stating: “Sending this and much more love to my dear boy @bachchan on his birthday today!! ❤️❤️❤️ P.S. - he may act as though he dislikes this, but in reality, he enjoys it!!”

On a related note, Amitabh Bachchan shared a heartfelt message on his blog to commemorate Abhishek's birthday. He wrote, “To all the fans and well-wishers who have extended their birthday wishes to Abhishek, I would like to use this blog as a means of expressing gratitude on behalf of both him and myself. The number of messages is too vast for individual responses, so please accept my heartfelt thanks for your love and support. ❤️” He also included a nostalgic photograph from the day Abhishek was born, capturing a moment where Amitabh gazes at his newborn son in the hospital.

Abhishek was recently featured in Shoojit Sircar's film, I Want To Talk, where he portrayed a cancer patient. The narrative is based on the true story of Arjun Sen, a marketing professional in the United States who faces a cancer diagnosis. Despite undergoing numerous surgeries, Arjun triumphs over his challenges and shares his journey. The film is currently available for viewing on Prime Video India.
