Filmmaker Farah Khan finds herself frequently discussing her cook, Dilip, regardless of her location. This past weekend, while attending a fashion show at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, she was once again inquired about him.

Farah donned a vibrant pink top paired with blue trousers for the fashion show, striking poses on the runway for the photographers prior to settling into her front-row seat. A paparazzo shouted, "Farah ji, where is Dilip?" Initially, she maintained a casual demeanor, but then retorted, "I certainly won't be bringing him here." With that, she hurried off the stage, leaving the photographers behind her laughing at her reply.

Fans were equally amused by her amusing response. One commenter remarked, “She is such a sweetheart.” Another noted, “Dilip has become a bigger star than she is.” Additionally, someone proposed, “We want Dilip on the ramp.”

Dilip's popularity has surged, largely due to his consecutive appearances on Farah's vlog channel. He also participated in Laughter Chefs, where Farah serves as a judge. His naive reactions to Farah's playful behavior have garnered significant affection from online audiences.

Recent problems for Farah

A criminal complaint has been filed against Farah Khan for allegedly referring to Holi as a festival of "chhapris" (uncultured individuals), according to a Mumbai Police official on Saturday. The police have not yet registered a First Information Report regarding the complaint made by social media influencer Vikas Jayram Phatak, also known as Hindustani Bhau, aged 45.

The complainant has called for legal action against Khan, claiming that her "chhapri" comment during a television show on Thursday disrespected the religious sentiments of Hindus. A representative from the Khar police station stated, “No FIR has been registered yet. An inquiry is currently underway," without providing further details.

In the meantime, as videos emerged online showing men causing disturbances during Holi and harassing others, public opinion regarding Farah's statement shifted. Many users on Instagram and other social media platforms expressed support for her viewpoint, asserting that she was correct in her assessment.
