Actor Vijay Deverakonda couldn't resist responding to a sweet fan request on Instagram. A female fan shared a new reel featuring her mother humorously attempting to offer Vijay some ‘free stitching’ lessons to help him save on costs for his clothing brand. To brighten the fan's day, Vijay left a charming comment appreciating the gesture.

What the fan shared

In the video, the fan showcased her mom's efforts to navigate Instagram by posting random reels for her followers, including Vijay. The fan thought it would be fun to send him a reel promoting ‘free stitching’ that could benefit his clothing business. She laughed at her mom's antics in the video and captioned it, “My adorable, innocent mom is still trying to figure out Instagram (red heart emoticon) @thedeverakonda.”

Vijay's remark

Before long, Vijay himself noticed the post and chimed in with a comment: "Thanks, Aunty (red heart emoticon)! I’ll send you some cool reels too."

Vijay, who recently appeared in The Family Star and had a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD, is set to star in Kingdom next. This film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, was previously known as VD12. The teaser, released in February, showcased Vijay's fresh look, featuring a rugged style with cropped hair and a beard. Although details about his character are scarce, one scene shows him in a fight, using a police shield for protection. Produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, the film's music is by Anirudh Ravichander, and it’s scheduled to hit theaters on May 30.

Additionally, Vijay has another project in the works with Rahul Sankrithyan, following their collaboration on Taxiwaala, titled VD 14, which is a period drama. More details about this film are still pending.
