Bollywood actors Jaideep Ahlawat, Manoj Bajpayee, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who previously collaborated in Anurag Kashyap’s gangster film Gangs of Wasseypur, have recently come together again, sharing a photograph on social media that has excited their fans.

Gangs of Wasseypur trio reunites

On March 25, Jaideep Ahlawat posted a cheerful image on Instagram, featuring himself alongside Manoj and Nawazuddin. He captioned the photo with a memorable line from their film: “Baap ka, Dada ka, Sabka…” The post quickly gained traction, with fans expressing their joy over the reunion.

A Reddit user highlighted Jaideep’s post with the phrase, “Three generations, one vibe.” Fans were enthusiastic about the trio's gathering and called for them to be cast in a web series. One comment suggested, “Cast them together in a web series. Just imagine the internet's reaction.” Another remarked, “All three were outstanding in that film. What an iconic piece of cinema!” A different fan proposed, “Just have the three of them sit in a room and chat. The resulting content would far surpass much of what is currently produced on Indian OTT platforms.” One Reddit user simply expressed, “Chills, literal chills.” Another added, “These are genuine actors who will remain relevant for generations. They can adapt to any role.”

In the 2012 film Gangs of Wasseypur, Jaideep portrayed Shahid Khan, Manoj Bajpayee played Sardar Khan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui took on the role of Faizal Khan. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Gangs of Wasseypur is a black comedy crime film that also features Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi, and Tigmanshu Dhulia in significant roles. The two-part film was not only critically acclaimed but also achieved commercial success.

Jaideep Ahlawat, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Manoj Bajpayee are set to showcase their talents in upcoming projects. Jaideep is slated to portray the villain alongside Saif Ali Khan in the Netflix series "Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins," with the premiere date yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, Manoj will return in the much-anticipated third season of "The Family Man," which features notable performances from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Priyamani, and others. This season is expected to debut on Prime Video later this year. Additionally, Nawazuddin will appear in the film "Section 108," directed by Rashik Khan.
