Recently, fans of actors Ajith Kumar and Vijay were involved in a confrontation during a screening of Good Bad Ugly in Kerala. An X (formerly Twitter) user shared a video that depicted the fans fighting, while onlookers attempted to step in and diffuse the situation.

A video depicting a confrontation among fans at Sathya Theatre in Palakkad, Kerala, is circulating widely on social media. The footage shows the screening being interrupted as audience members react in disbelief while several men engage in physical altercations. At one point, an individual is pushed down the stairs and severely assaulted before others attempt to step in.
The user on X who shared the video remarked, “I am unsure why these uneducated Vijay fans feel the need to display their behavior in a venue filled with dedicated Ajith supporters. Once again, we witness a violent incident instigated by Thala fans against a group of Vijay fans who disrupted the #GoodBadUgly celebration within the theatre.” According to a report from Thanthi TV, the altercation erupted when fans of Vijay began chanting TVK slogans during the screening.
The history of fan wars between Ajith Kumar, Vijay
The longstanding rivalry between the fans of Ajith and Vijay has persisted for several decades. Ajith has previously expressed his disapproval of this animosity, emphasizing that he does not wish for his supporters to engage in conflicts with those of Vijay.
Recently, after his participation in an event in Dubai, he conveyed to Gulf News, “I urge my fans to enjoy the films; everything is perfectly fine. However, Ajith vaazhga, Vijay vaazhga... when will you focus on living your own lives?”
In a video message directed at his supporters, he reiterated that the film industry flourishes only when all individuals achieve success, encouraging fans to prioritize their own lives as well.
