A witness to Liam Payne's unfortunate fall has shared his harrowing experience, stating it is a memory he will "never forget." Bret Watson, who was residing at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October, was engaged in a conversation with his wedding planner when the former One Direction member fell from the third floor. In the immediate aftermath of the incident, Watson hurried to the balcony to ascertain what had happened, visibly disturbed by the unfolding events.

An eyewitness provides an account of Payne's descent.

Watson conveyed to TMZ, “We were looking out of our hotel window at the pool area to show her the view when we witnessed Liam fall. It was evident that it was Liam lying on the ground. He landed on his back, allowing us to immediately recognize him, and he was motionless.” He expressed that time seemed to stand still following the incident.

In the trailer for the forthcoming documentary by TMZ titled, Liam Payne: Who’s To Blame?, the eyewitness remarked, “The wedding planner and I exchanged glances, both realizing, 'Oh my God, this is real. This has happened.'”

He further described the experience as “heartbreaking” and admitted to still grappling with the events. Watson elaborated, “Witnessing the fall and then hearing the impact on the ground is more haunting than just seeing him fall and the immediate aftermath. It is something that is etched in my memory, something I will never forget.”

Rogelio 'Roger' Nores, a close friend of Payne, will also be featured in the documentary. During his interview, he stated that the singer exhibited no signs of erratic behaviour before his death, despite reports suggesting otherwise.

He remarked, “I am a very good friend of Liam, and I was with him on the day he passed away. He was in high spirits, engaging with 10 to 15 Americans who were present for a wedding. He was conversing with them and sharing jokes,” as reported by The Mirror. He further noted, “He was completely composed, interacting with everyone, enjoying himself, and laughing, so there was nothing unusual.”
