Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha -- Aparajita Adhya and Anusha Viswanatha’s mother-daughter saga -- started in September 2023. In the show, Anusha pairs up with Indrasish Roy, while Chandan Sen plays her father. After a run for nine months, the show is all set to come to an end. On Wednesday, the team had the last day of shooting. As OTTplay reported earlier, the last episode will be on air on June 16. 

Anusha, who plays Tota – Kojagori’s (Aparajita Adhya) daughter – was all emotional on the last day. “It was my first television outing and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The work is rigorous and the return is satisfying. I got a broader audience. The everyday shooting schedule seemed like nurturing my acting skills regularly. After the last day of shooting, we all chatted for a while. I sobbed, yes. It was my first serial ever so I was emotional. On the last day, it was a full house with Apadi, (Aparajita Adhya), Indrashish (Roy, male lead), Reshmi Sen, Chandan Sen, and others. I noticed Apadi and Indrasish getting emotional,” she told us.

Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha ran for nine months. It largely led the slot and remained on the TRP list. Just before the last day of shooting, the team had a lavish feast. Talking about their picnic, Anusha revealed that they pooled money and cooked on the set at Narayani Studios. “All of us contributed and had a spread of Mutton, chutney, papad, and other Bengali delicacies. It was a fun day for all of us,” she said. 

Indrasish Roy has started a new Star Jalsha serial, Haragouri Pice Hotel. Meanwhile, Anusha decided to take a brief interval from TV but she hopes to be back soon. Sonamoni Saha and Honey Bafna's Shubho Bibaho will begin at the slot of Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha from June 17. Both these serials stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
