Tollywood actor Allu Arjun is deliberately taking his time to reveal details about his forthcoming projects. Although he had previously agreed to collaborate with several directors prior to the remarkable success of Sukumar’s Pushpa franchise, his fans are eager to learn about his next endeavors. Producer Ravi Shankar discussed the actor's upcoming films during the promotion of Robinhood. 

Allu Arjun’s upcoming films after Pushpa 2

Producer Ravi was inquired about the potential development of Pushpa 3: The Rampage, which was hinted at the conclusion of Pushpa 2: The Rule. He confirmed, “We will certainly proceed with Pushpa 3.”

He further disclosed that Allu Arjun is currently engaged in projects directed by Atlee and Trivikram Srinivas, stating, “Allu Arjun is presently occupied with a film by Atlee. Following that, he will work on another project with Trivikram Srinivas. It will require him a minimum of two years to finish both films.”

Ravi also noted that Sukumar will be similarly occupied, as he has a film scheduled with Ram Charan after his current commitments. “Sukumar is also working on a film with Ram Charan. This will also take him two years to complete, along with the writing for Pushpa 3. Therefore, we anticipate that production will commence in two and a half years, aiming for a release within three and a half years, by 2028; we intend to avoid prolonged delays this time,” the producer stated.

Prior to the record-breaking success of the Pushpa films, Arjun had also committed to projects with directors Venu Sriram and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, with Sandeep currently focused on the Prabhas-starrer Spirit, it remains uncertain when they might collaborate.

The Pushpa films

Following the release of Naa Peru Surya in 2018, Arjun's career experienced a downturn; however, he made a notable return with the family comedy Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in 2020. That same year, he began collaborating with Sukumar, leading to his roles in the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise and the upcoming 2024 film Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Both films garnered favorable reactions from audiences, yet they faced criticism for their lengthy production times. During an episode of Unstoppable with NBK, hosted by Balakrishna, Arjun expressed his desire to engage in additional projects and expedite the filmmaking process.
