Actor Esha Deol is getting ready for the launch of her new movie, Tumko Meri Kasam. In a chat with The Quint, she shared how her mother, Hema Malini, has been a great source of support and has offered her valuable advice throughout the years.

In the interview, Esha shared some valuable lessons her mother imparted to her throughout the years. She emphasized, “I believe every mother wants to pass this on to their daughters: it's crucial to maintain your own identity, even after getting married. My mom always reminded me that I’ve worked hard to build my reputation and have a career. Even if you haven't established a name for yourself yet, having a profession is important. Don't ever give that up. Keep pushing forward and stay engaged in your work.”

I haven't taken any action on it yet

Esha shared her thoughts, saying, "One thing that’s crucial in life and should never fade away is romance. It’s that special feeling that gives you butterflies in your stomach. We all crave that sensation. I keep that advice in mind, but I haven’t put it into action yet."

Esha Deol, the daughter of legendary actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, tied the knot with Bharat Takhtani in Mumbai back in 2012. They have two daughters: Radhya, born in 2017, and Miraya, born in 2019. After over 11 years of marriage, Esha and Bharat announced their separation earlier this February.

On the professional side, Esha is featured in Vikram Bhatt's film Tumko Meri Kasam, which hits theaters today. The movie, inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF, a network of fertility clinics, also stars Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma, and Ishwak Singh.
