Bollywood actress Esha Deol, the daughter of renowned actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, began her career in 2002 and is poised to return to the silver screen after a 14-year hiatus. In a recent interview with The Quint, she reflected on the various rumors linking her to several co-stars, including Ajay Devgn, during the early stages of her career and explained the origins of these speculations.

Regarding the most unusual rumor she encountered in her early career, Esha remarked, "I was associated with many of my co-stars at that time. While some may have had a basis in truth, many did not. They even attempted to connect me romantically with Ajay Devgn. Our relationship is truly special and distinct, characterized by mutual respect, love, and admiration. It was quite strange."
She elaborated on the reasons behind these rumors, stating, "Numerous fabricated stories emerged, likely because we were collaborating on several films together during that period."
For those unfamiliar, Esha and Ajay have shared the screen in multiple films, such as Yuva, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, Kaal, Insan, and Cash. The pair also reunited for a web series in 2022, titled Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, a psychological crime thriller featuring Rashii Khanna, Atul Kulkarni, and Ashish Vidyarthi, which is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
