During an interview, Rajkummar Rao’s name came up, and this prompted Emraan to reflect on the idea of beauty and cosmetic surgeries. Earlier, Stree actor Rajkumar Rao’s picture from an event went crazy viral with rumours that suggested his new cosmetic surgery.

Bollywood’s glitz and glamour charm everyone. While there are those who embrace their natural beauty, many others prefer to go under the knife to look a certain way.

In a recent interview with ScoopWhoop, Emraan was asked why actors choose cosmetic surgery and about the insecurities that drive them to opt for such procedures. When Emraan was asked if Rajkummar got work done, he blushed and then nodded.

The Tiger 3 actor said that cosmetic surgery businesses make people feel like everyone can look like poster boys or girls.

"It is a reality. I mean, the cosmetic business. Not just in the industry but it's a thing that they marketed pretty well. Everyone wants to look like that poster boy or girl and there's become this identity of what beauty is, right? And you want to mould yourself to that because that's what gets the love and you feel good about yourself,” Hashmi said.

The 45-year-old actor also clarified that he has not undergone any such surgery or procedures.

Rajkummar Rao reacts to the plastic surgery claims

A few months ago, Rajkummar’s picture from an event went viral. His suddenly pointed chin and face grabbed attention and several people claimed that he had gone under the knife for a procedure.

The Stree 2 actor rebuffed the claims and said that he had not had plastic surgery and that the picture might be touched-up. However, he later accepted to getting fillers on his chin to feel more confident and look better.
