Emraan Hashmi talks about his teenage years
Adolescence, created by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham, centers on a teenager who is accused of killing a classmate. Since its debut in March, the series has garnered extensive critical praise. Discussing the show in an interview with News 18, Emraan stated, “Adolescence has worked primarily because of its subject matter – the challenges of growing up in today's world and social media. But inherently, it's such a perilous project since it comprises just four episodes, each filmed in a single take. "
Another highlight of Adolescence is that all four episodes are filmed in uninterrupted shots without any edits. The shooting required extensive rehearsals and months of meticulous planning. Emraan remarked, “If you presented that to a producer over here, I would assert that nine out of ten of them would respond, ‘Are you crazy? ’ It would be a logistical disaster. Thirteen minutes into a take, someone could mess up, and we'd have to redo the whole thing. What would that do to the budget? We would require a director who is bold and crazy enough to create a show in that manner. "
Adolescence features Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters, and Faye Marsay. It represents 15-year-old Owen Cooper's debut as Jamie Miller, the kid accused of murder. The series is available for streaming on Netflix.
Emraan Hashmi's latest movie

Centered on the actual events involving BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, the film highlights the Border Security Force's bold operation that resulted in the demise of terrorist Rana Tahir Nadeem, commonly known as Ghazi Baba, in 2003. Helmed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Ground Zero features performances from Sai Tamhankar, Zoya Hussain, and Mukesh Tiwari.
