While on the show hosted by Salman Khan, Shilpa expressed a desire to see her sister at least once. However, during the family visitation, it was her daughter who came to see Shilpa instead. Although she had anticipated the arrival of her sister Namrata, Shilpa was overjoyed to see her daughter, who had grown up, in the house. Despite being in a frozen state, she called out to her daughter, who then embraced her. Chum Darang, positioned directly across from them, shared in the joy and emotion of this touching reunion.

Shilpa expressed her deep affection, stating, "I love you so much," as she embraced her daughter, tears streaming down her face. Her daughter playfully remarked on Shilpa's significant weight loss. When Shilpa inquired about her husband's presence, her daughter disclosed that she had to argue with him to gain entry into the house.

Interestingly, Shilpa had chosen to wear her husband's blue shirt on the day of the task, a gesture reflecting her longing for him. The actress shared this detail with a laugh during their heartfelt reunion.

Upon her release, Shilpa leapt into her daughter's arms, showering her with kisses. Her daughter playfully noted that her makeup was being smudged, but Shilpa remained unfazed, continuing to kiss her daughter and revelling in their joyful reunion.

Shilpa disclosed that she had a disagreement with her sister, Namrata Shirodkar, two weeks prior to her participation in Bigg Boss 18. Since that incident, they have not communicated. Shilpa expressed her desire to mend their relationship through her time on Bigg Boss 18; however, it appears that the resolution may take some additional time. Before entering the show, Shilpa did meet Namrata's husband, Mahesh Babu, but she has yet to reconnect with her sister. Perhaps the finale will provide an opportunity for a positive development for both them and the audience.
