Actor Lakshmi Manchu hosted her yearly fundraising fashion show for Teach For Change in Hyderabad on Saturday night. A video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram captures her emotional moment when her brother Manchu Manoj unexpectedly showed up at the event, adding a twist to the family drama.

Lakshmi Manchu gets emotional

In the video shared by the paparazzo, Manoj is spotted approaching Lakshmi with his arms open for a hug. When Lakshmi notices him, she appears taken aback and then starts to cry, prompting him to comfort her. Manoj and his wife, Bhuma Mounika, also step in to console her, gently wiping her tears as she expresses her gratitude for their presence. Later, when Telugu 360 inquired about the reason behind his sister's tears, Manoj humorously remarked, “We haven't seen each other in ages. She was upset that I arrived late.”

Fans were touched to see her crying for her brother. One fan shared, “She really misses her brother; they have a unique connection, and she’s talked about it in many interviews.” Another added, “Their bond is strong, but she feels powerless.” A different fan commented, “Manoj is a great guy. You can really see the love she has for her brother.”

Division within the Manchu family

Lately, Manoj and his brother Vishnu Manchu have been at odds, leading to some serious family issues, including legal troubles. Although Lakshmi has kept her distance from the situation, their father, Mohan Babu, initially spoke out against Manoj. Recently, Manoj even protested outside their home after being denied entry.

There are whispers that the brothers are clashing over property, but Manoj insists that money isn't the issue. He claims the real problem lies in the mismanagement of their family’s educational institution and the poor treatment of its staff. Additionally, he accused Vishnu of taking his car and other valuables while he was away.
