The announcement was made via Instagram when the Oppenheimer star altered the pronouns and name in their biography. It is now reported that Emma has adopted the name Nick and uses "they/them" pronouns in place of "she/her."
TMZ reached out to the actor's representative, who verified the information. "They identify as a trans masculine non-binary individual. Their professional name remains Emma Dumont, but they will be known as Nick among friends and family," stated the publicist.
In recent weeks, Nick, formerly known as Emma, has been active on social media, sharing numerous selfies and other images across various posts. However, they have not publicly acknowledged their recent coming out. Additionally, Emma has not previously discussed her sexuality in public forums.
