Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav was under interrogation once again. It happened on Thursday when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned him for hours with regards to the money laundering case linked to the snake venom case. Elvish served jail time for the snake venom case and was called in for interrogation in the money laundering case recently.

On Thursday, Elvish Yadav was interrogated by ED in the money laundering case. He was summoned in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow headquarters. A video of him leaving the office, with the media questioning him about the case, is also available on social media.

Elvish Yadav grilled for 7 hours?

Hindustan Times shares that Elvish was under interrogation for seven hours. This is for the case under the Prevention of Money Laundering (PMLA) Act, which is associated with the Snake Venom case, which Elvish was arrested for earlier this year.

The Snake Venom case and Elvish Yadav's arrest

Elvish was arrested in the Snake Venom case on March 17. He was under 14-day judicial custody but received bail after serving five days in prison.

The Snake Venom case was registered in Noida (again Uttar Pradesh)'s Sector 49 police station on November 3, 2023. The NGO People for Animals (PFO) had filed the complaint, and Elvish, along with five snake charmers, were arrested and are out on bail.

Elvish was booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Wildlife Protection Act, and the Indian Penal Code (IPC) 120A (sections 284 and 289 added later on). The charges under NDPS Act were later dropped, stating it was a mistake.

Not convinced with his answers back then, the officials planned to question Elvish further after getting more details about the snake charmers. Elvish’s close associate, Haryana singer Rahul Yadav, more popularly known as Fazilpuriya, was also interrogated in the case.
