This prompted a backlash from numerous users, who criticized the YouTuber's remarks and called for stringent measures against him.

What Elvish said about Chum

In the video shared on Reddit, Elvish Yadav was conversing with Rajat Dalal, whom he supported during the show. He remarked, “Karan Veer must have had COVID because who would find Chum appealing? How could anyone have such poor taste? The name Chum itself is quite inappropriate, and she has worked in a film like Gangubai Kathiawadi.”

Angry reactions

Elvish's statements provoked widespread anger, with many individuals expressing their discontent in the comments section. Numerous users demanded immediate repercussions, criticizing the casual racism and character defamation directed at Chum in the video.

Throughout Bigg Boss 18, Chum garnered a strong fan base due to her charming demeanor and effective gameplay. She was recognized for her ability to handle significant responsibilities within the house and her resilience during challenges. Salman Khan also praised her for tackling important topics during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes.

As of now, Chum has not publicly responded to Elvish's comments. She is currently in her hometown of Arunachal Pradesh and has taken to Instagram to share her experiences upon returning home after several months.
