British singer Ed Sheeran shared the best moments from his recent trip to India, including a not-so-great experience, in a lively video he dropped on social media Friday night. He uploaded a Reel on Instagram with the caption, "India, that was fun! til next time." The video featured clips from his concerts, hanging out with fans and celebrities, and even a run-in with the Bengaluru Police during one of his street performances.

The video kicks off with Ed Sheeran chatting to the camera from his car. He shares, "Every time I've visited India, it's mostly been in the evenings, and everything felt pretty controlled. So, I'm really looking forward to diving into the real experience now." The scene then cuts to a mix of fans raving about Ed's music, him soaking in some Indian classical tunes, and doing a quick practice run before hitting the stage.

Ed downplays the Bengaluru incident

The best part of the video was definitely when Ed shared the clip of his street performance getting cut short by the cops in Bengaluru. He even poked fun at the whole situation by adding a meme featuring Ranbir Kapoor's character Jordan from Rockstar facing a similar police encounter.

Fans were both surprised and thrilled to see Ed joke about the incident and recognize the meme. One fan exclaimed, "No way, you included the Bengaluru cops moment!" while another said, “Are you serious? The Bengaluru incident meme!! What?! You noticed that too?”

This month, Ed Sheeran was playing on the streets of Church Street in Bengaluru when the police showed up and stopped his gig, unplugging his gear. After the interruption, Ed went on Instagram to explain that his performance wasn’t a spontaneous decision. He wrote, “We had permission to busk, so playing in that spot was all planned out, not just us showing up out of the blue. No worries though!”

Ed was playing football with some kids, and he thought it was a bit 'weird' to be competing against them. The video also showed him cruising around, playing cricket, and chilling with Bollywood star John Abraham.

Later on, Ed declared butter chicken as the 'one Indian dish he could eat forever.' One fan praised him, saying, "You’ve captured the essence of our country so beautifully." Another chimed in, "Ed, those clips are everything! I can't wait for the full album with these gems!"
