Musician Ed Sheeran, who visited India in February for his Mathematics (–=÷x) Tour, has shared a nostalgic video from his trip. On Monday, he took to Instagram to post a clip featuring one of his rides in an auto rickshaw.

In the video, Ed is seated beside the auto driver, whom he identified as Rakesh. As Ed played his forthcoming song "Azizam," Rakesh was seen enjoying the music while driving. Ed remarked, "I think he likes it. Let's go." While Rakesh danced to the beat, Ed smiled and sang along, encouraging him with, "Give me the moves, man."

Fans find similarities between Ed's auto driver, Rajamouli

Regarding Ed's visit to India and his tour, the singer commenced his tour on January 30 in Pune and wrapped it up on February 15 in Delhi-NCR. From riding pillion on a scooter with Arijit Singh in West Bengal to enjoying football with actor John Abraham, Ed fully embraced his third trip to India. He has also performed in Bhutan and China, with his next concert set for April 30 in Qatar. The Mathematics Tour is expected to conclude in 2025, with Ed scheduled to perform across Europe, culminating in Dusseldorf on September 7.

Concerning Ed's forthcoming song "Azizam," he is preparing for its release as part of his eighth studio album. "Azizam" features an energetic, fast-paced dance rhythm infused with unique Persian elements, which aligns with the song's title. The term "Azizam" is a Persian expression of affection meaning "my dear," suggesting a deeper personal and cultural resonance within the track. Ed is well-known for hits like "Shape of You," "Perfect," "Galway Girl," and "I See Fire."
