Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is all set to make her debut in the Punjabi film industry with the upcoming film, Shaunki Sardar. The actress will share the screen with the popular Punjabi singer-turned-actor Guru Randhawa. In an exclusive chat with OTTPlay, Nimrit shared that she can't wait to see herself on the silver screen and also opened up on various topics.

During an exclusive interview with us, Nimrit was asked to share how excited she is for her Punjabi film debut, Shaunki Sardar.

The actress said, "I am extremely excited. I can't wait to see myself on the silver screen. I think for every actor that's one dream in common just to able to be able to see on the big screen and also it is exciting because it's written and directed by Dheeraj Rattan Sir. He has played such a pivotal role in Punjabi cinemas like most of the cult Punjabi films that you see are all written."

She further added that she feels very happy to be on a team like Shaunki Sardar because everyone is so driven and passionate to create something magical. 

Giving a peak into the film, Kaur said that it is a very beautiful family film. "Very romcom and then converts into a thriller. I think its a perfect blend of a lot of factor," she said.

Speaking about her working experience with Guru, the actress said it has been amazing. She loved that he was very humble, grounded, and extremely warm and made sure that she was feeling okay and welcomed.

At the sets of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Nimrit received a video message from one of her close friends Sumbul Touqeer. Reacting to it, she said that it was very sweet of her to take the time somehow and send in that message. 

"I don't have too many friends in this industry cuz most of my friends are outside the industry but I feel happy that whatever friendship I have built here are real and genuine friendships so it was very sweet of her to send a message," Nimrit added.
