Singer-actress Lisa Mishra is currently enjoying the success of Call Me Bae. The series starring Ananya Panday recently renewed for the second season Amid this, Lisa had an exclusive interview with OTTPlay where she opened up about various topics and one of them was collaborating with Badshah. In an exclusive chat with us, Lisa Mishra was asked to share her working experience with Badshah. She said that working with Badshah was one of the 'greatest moments' of her career because he allowed her to write her song herself and compose herself when she was just 4 months into living in India.
"In 2018, he gave me my first song and an opportunity to write and compose which I don’t think people realize how much belief he has in other artists, especially young female artists. He challenged me as a writer and a composer as well from such a young age so I have a lot of respect and love for Badshah. He is like my older brother and I feel very supportive of him and I am very grateful," Lisa shared.
Lisa Mishra on performing at the upcoming Lollapalooza India 2025
The singer-actress will be performing at the third edition of the music festival Lollapalooza India 2025. The festival will be taking place from 8th - 9th March in Mumbai. Talking about it, Lisa said that she feels grateful to be a part of it and also added, "I was not able to afford tickets to Lollapalooza when I was younger living in Chicago and now I got to be on the stage and it is an honor to play Lollapalooza India." The actress-singer also shared that she is excited for India to see Green Day's performance.
Meanwhile, the lineup for the festival also includes artists like Green Day, Louis Tomlinson, Shawn Mendes, Glass Animals, and others.
