Since Allu Arjun visited Nandyal to support his uncle Pawan Kalyan’s political opponent, Silpa Ravichandra Kishore Reddy, speculation has intensified regarding potential discord between the Konidela and Allu families. Recently, Ram Charan's decision to unfollow Allu Arjun on Instagram has further fueled these rumours, leading fans to suspect that relations may not be harmonious.

Ram Charan's Unfollow Action  

Observant fans noted that Ram Charan has unfollowed Allu Arjun on Instagram, while he continues to follow his brother, Allu Sirish. Meanwhile, Upasana Konidela, Ram's wife, still follows Arjun on both his public and private accounts. Allu Arjun exclusively follows his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, on Instagram, and Sneha maintains her follow of Ram on the platform. This situation has led fans to speculate about possible tensions between the cousins, especially in light of Sai Durgha Tej's decision to unfollow Arjun on social media last year.

Public Reaction  

A lively discussion has emerged among fans of both Arjun and Ram on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the implications of these actions. One fan commented, “A few years ago, Allu Arjun unfollowed everyone on Instagram except his wife... now Ram Charan has unfollowed Allu Arjun... Allu Arjun did not tweet or wish for Game Changer... is there any conflict between them?”

Some of Charan's supporters came to his defence, arguing that since Arjun does not follow him, it is acceptable for Charan to unfollow him. One individual commented, "Allu Arjun does not follow Ram Charan, so it is reasonable for RC to unfollow him." Another supporter concurred, stating, "If Allu Arjun were to follow Ram Charan, it should be reciprocal."

Conversely, Arjun's fans expressed their confusion over Charan's decision to unfollow him, especially considering that Arjun has only followed Sneha on Instagram. One fan remarked, "Allu Arjun has never followed anyone; now that Ram Charan has suddenly unfollowed him, it raises questions about what has changed." Additionally, some fans created memes to humorously address the situation.

Allu Aravind’s comments on Game Changer

Days after Allu Aravind's remarks regarding the box office disappointment of Game Changer, which were not well received by Charan's supporters, he made a lighthearted comment at the pre-release event of Thandel, targeting producer Dil Raju for the film's underperformance. In contrast, his other film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, achieved commercial success.

Following a wave of criticism, he sought to clarify his statements during a press conference, stating, “This matter is both emotional and personal to me; I feel it is necessary to address it. On that occasion, when I spoke about Dil Raju, my intention was merely to highlight that he experienced both loss and gain within a short span. The backlash I received was significant, but my comments were not meant to carry that implication.”

He expressed that Charan is ‘like a son’ to him and acknowledged that he should have refrained from discussing the subject altogether.
