Actor and comedian Krushna Abhishek's passion for designer footwear and apparel is remarkable. In a recent interview, he revealed that he acquired a 3 BHK flat, not for residential purposes, but rather to serve as a storage area for his vast assortment of clothing and shoes. He refreshes his collection every six months. Additionally, he mentioned that his children eagerly anticipate his performances in female roles.

Krushna reveals

Recently, Krushna made an appearance on Archana Puran Singh’s YouTube channel, where she graciously hosted him for lunch. During their discussion, Krushna expressed his passion for shoes and shared details about his extensive collection. He mentioned that he has acquired a separate property specifically for the purpose of storing his shoes.

He stated, “I have purchased a house and converted it into a boutique.”

At this moment, Archana’s husband, Parmeet Sethi, appeared taken aback, prompting her to disclose that Krushna had acquired a three-bedroom flat solely to accommodate his clothing and footwear. Krushna smiled and admitted that he tends to rotate his collection every six months. Archana humorously suggested that since her son Ayushmann is of “the same height as you, whatever you decide to discard during your rotations, you should pass on to Ayushmann.”

The D&G story

In the same video, Krushna revealed that during his childhood, he often wore clothing belonging to his uncle Govinda. He openly confessed that he initially believed the fashion label DnG was a creation of David (Dhawan) and Govinda, derived from their initials.

Krushna remarked, “When I was in college, he frequently donned high-end brands. We were unaware of the fashion world at that time, yet he would wear labels like Prada and Gucci—names I have only recently learned to pronounce. Throughout his life, my uncle consistently wore DnG apparel. For many years, I sported his shirts and jackets from that brand. I was under the misconception that DnG represented David and Govinda, thinking they were so renowned that they must have established their own brand.”

David and Govinda provided Bollywood enthusiasts with numerous successful films and popular songs during the 1990s and 2000s, including titles such as Raja Babu, Coolie No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, Shola Aur Shabnam, Hero No. 1, Kyo Kii Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, Partner, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Although they experienced a falling out later on, Govinda recently confirmed a reconciliation with David Dhawan, stating that they prefer not to dwell on the past.
