Music composer and actor GV Prakash Kumar ended his marriage with singer Saindhavi in May of the previous year, after ten years together. Some online discussions suggested that his co-star Divya Bharathi was a factor in their separation. Despite both GV Prakash and Divya Bharathi having previously responded to these rumors, speculation persisted. Recently, the actor has released another statement on social media.

On Tuesday, Divya Bharathi addressed her followers on Instagram, clarifying that she is not involved in the family matters of GV Prakash. She expressed, "My name has been involved in a personal family issue that does not pertain to me in any way. I have no ties to GV's family problems. To be clear, I would never enter into a relationship with an actor, especially not with a married individual."

She emphasized the importance of respecting her boundaries, stating, "I have chosen to remain silent until now, as I believed that unfounded rumors did not deserve my response. However, this situation has gone too far. I will not allow my reputation to be damaged by baseless claims. I am a strong and independent woman, and I refuse to be defined by hearsay. Let us concentrate on creating a more positive world rather than perpetuating negativity. Please respect my boundaries. This is my initial and final comment on this issue. Thank you!"

Speculation regarding GV Prakash's relationship with Divya Bharathi has been prevalent since they collaborated in the 2021 film Bachelor. In a previous interview with Galatta Tamil, Prakash clarified that they maintain a professional relationship and nothing more. Divya also addressed the unjust accusations directed at her regarding his divorce, which led to severe online harassment. Upon learning about his co-star's struggles, GV encouraged her to disregard the negativity and concentrate on her career.
