Ditipriya Roy became immensely popular for her serial Rani Rashmoni. After that, she was seen in films and web series. Now, she is returning to television. Which serial will she be seen in?
Anurager Chowa is one of the oldest and hit serials of Star Jalsha. Ditipriya will make her entry in that serial in the character of Rupa. The serial’s story moved forward. Sona and Rupa, two daughters of Surya and Deepa, grew up. Ditipriya will play the grown-up Rupa.
In an interview to Anandabazar Online, the actress said ‘Some talks over the agreement are still due. I have my final MA examination on August 28. After that, the rest of the talk will happen.’ She is having her masters in sociology.
Ditipriya worked in several serials since her childhood. She then played mainly as a child artist. But Rani Rashmoni made her a household name. After the serial ended, she worked in web series like Rajneeti, Dakghar, and Abar Rajneeti. Apart from television, she is supposed to work in two web series. She will also be seen in the film Pataliganjer Putul Khela, directed by Subhankar Chatterjee.
