Director Sanoj Mishra's accusations

The initial information report (FIR) was registered at the Amboli police station located in suburban Mumbai, where Mishra submitted a complaint against the individuals involved. Recently, Mishra revealed plans to produce a film titled The Diary of Manipur, featuring Bhosle, a garland vendor who gained significant attention for her remarkable presence at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, subsequently becoming an internet sensation.

An official from the Amboli police station stated that the five men named in the complaint have made serious accusations against Mishra concerning the film's budget and other related matters. One individual allegedly asserted that none of Mishra's films have been released thus far and threatened to "ruin" the career of 16-year-old Bhosle, as mentioned in the complaint.

Mishra has dismissed the allegations made by the five men as unfounded and claimed that they have formed a coalition to damage his reputation. "These individuals are intentionally disseminating false and misleading information about me. They are opposed to the production of Monalisa's film 'The Diary of Manipur,'" he stated.

The FIR was lodged under the applicable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and an investigation is currently in progress, the official noted.
