Actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, who have been married for seven years, recently became the subject of divorce rumors. However, the couple clarified the situation in a recent vlog shared by Shoaib.

Response to the Speculation  

The actors jointly addressed the rumors, firmly labeling them as unfounded and dispelling the speculation. They seem to be handling the situation with a light-hearted attitude, dismissing the rumors with humor.

In the vlog, Shoaib humorously tells Dipika, "You didn’t inform me that another marriage in the industry is ending, and it is ours (laughs)."

Dipika responds playfully, “Why should I tell you? I will handle all these matters discreetly.”

While collaborating in the kitchen, Dipika and Shoaib share a jovial moment regarding the divorce rumors, with Dipika teasingly stating, "Congratulations, you’re the first to break this news to us."

In the video, Shoaib later discusses the rumors with his family, who are seen laughing at the situation. He jokingly adds to Dipika, "Let’s get through the entire month of Ramadan together, and then we will see." At the conclusion of the vlog, he smiles and advises, "Please do not create any such news."

About the couple

Dipika was married to pilot Raunak Samson when she first encountered Shoaib on the set of their television series, Sasural Simar Ka, in 2011. Although rumors suggested that her relationship with her co-star contributed to her divorce in 2015, she refuted these claims. Shoaib and Dipika reunited on the set of Sasural Simar Ka and subsequently married in 2018. They welcomed their son, Ruhaan, in 2023.

In an announcement regarding the birth of their first child, Shoaib shared on his Instagram Stories, "Alhamdulillah today 21st June 2023 early morning we are blessed with a baby boy. It's a premature delivery, nothing much to worry. Keep us in your prayers. (sic)" Dipika later re-shared this story on her own Instagram account.
