Actor Dipika Kakar, known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, has frequently faced criticism regarding her personal life. In a recent interview with Nayandeep Rakshit, she addressed accusations of having abandoned her daughter from her first marriage, revealing the significant impact these rumors have had on her mental well-being.

Dipika responds to claims of neglecting her daughter from her previous marriage

In the promotional clip for the episode, Dipika expressed her emotions while confronting the allegations, stating, "I would never even consider making such a serious accusation against a mother—that she abandoned her daughter." 

She went on to share how these claims affected her mental state, explaining, "I was profoundly impacted because that was the time I was expecting Ruhan. My only concern and question to Shoaib was, ‘Why would people say such things when there’s no truth in them at all?’ Ruhan was a premature baby, and we faced significant challenges during our time in the hospital." The complete episode of the chat show Off The Record is set to be released next week.

When Shoaib reacted to the claims

Earlier, Shoaib Ibrahim, Dipika's husband, addressed the circulating rumors in one of his vlogs, stating, "I want to clarify that this news is entirely false. The reason behind the dissemination of such misleading information remains unknown. It has taken a toll on Dipika's mental well-being. She has been subjected to numerous unfounded claims. Please refrain from making hasty judgments. This behavior is both harmful and unjust. You are levying serious accusations against a woman who is celebrating the arrival of her first child, has endured a miscarriage, and is now enjoying a joyful life with her baby."

Regarding the relationship between Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, it is noteworthy that Dipika was previously married to Raunak Samson, but they parted ways in 2015 after four years of marriage. She met Shoaib Ibrahim while working on the set of Sasural Simar Ka, and the couple subsequently married in 2018, surrounded by friends and family. They welcomed their first child, a son named Ruhan, in 2023.
