Dinesh Vijan, the producer of the highly anticipated film Chhaava, expressed his enthusiasm for the project during its promotional event in New Delhi on Tuesday. He discussed the evolution of India's cinematic landscape over the past decade, highlighting the nation's emergence on the global stage. "Fifteen to twenty years ago, films were heavily influenced by Western narratives, but in the last ten years, India has taken the lead," Vijan remarked. "Maddock is a company that has been built by all of you… your support for our story enabled us to bring Chhaava to life." Vijan further elaborated on the personal significance of Chhaava, particularly after sharing it with his mother. "Chhaava holds monumental importance for me. When I presented this film to my mother, she was moved to tears and expressed, ‘I am proud that you made this film.’" He underscored how the film embodies a celebration of India's rich culture and values.

We have begun an introspective journey and take great pride in our identity. This sense of self-awareness has propelled us to the pinnacle of success. Chhaava is a celebration of diversity, encompassing every religion, caste, and individual. It embodies a universal message that we must share our cultural heritage with the world. From my mother's admiration to my twins' engagement, this experience has been profoundly emotional for me, he expressed.

Dinesh also commended the uplifting atmosphere surrounding the film, particularly highlighting the contributions of his lead actors and director. "This project is surrounded by exceptionally positive individuals. I have never encountered anyone as positive as Rashmika," he remarked, referring to the actress portraying Yesubai.

Vijan further articulated his conviction regarding the integrity of the film's creation. "When the intention behind a film is genuine, it comes to fruition. I have never embarked on a project with a more sincere purpose than this one," he elaborated. "While I could mention the financial investment, it never crossed my mind, as the essence of this film is so pure. Chhaava was destined to be. Vicky Kaushal was meant to embody the character, Rashmika was destined to portray Yesubai, and Laxman Utekar was meant to direct this film."

Through these sincere reflections, Dinesh Vijan not only articulated his vision for Chhaava but also expressed his pride in India's current leadership in the global film industry, showcasing narratives that are deeply intertwined with its cultural and historical roots.
