Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh is currently captivating fans worldwide during his international tour. He has been winning hearts with his powerful and soulful performances. On September 28, Diljit, who has always kept his family life private, introduced his mother and sister at the Manchester concert. In his over fifteen years of career, this is the very first time Dosanjh flaunted his family proudly, showcasing his loved ones to the cheering crowd, and creating a memorable moment for all.

A short video from the Manchester concert is circulating on social media. In the video, the Udta Punjab actor is seen walking towards an elderly woman in the crowd while singing an emotional line from his song ‘Hass Hass’. With great affection and eyes filled with tears, the singer raised her hand in the air and introduced her saying, “By the way, this is my mom.” Diljit did not just stop there! He moved on and introduced his sister as well, and said, “This is my sister. Aaj meri family bhi aayi hui hai (today my family has also come here)”. While talking about his family, the singer shared an emotional story from his life.

The family introduction not only made Diljit Dosanjh emotional but also his crazy fans as well. Soon after the revelation, netizens flooded social media by pouring their love for their beloved star. One Instagram user wrote, “After 15 plus years of career, this is the first time we see Diljit’s family. He truly is a man of ethics and integrity”, another wrote, “ Beautiful moments and lucky to be a part of it and got his autograph on a puzzle we made for him.”

Earlier, in an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Diljit shared his parents forced him to leave home at 11. He said, “I was eleven years old when I left my home and started living with my mamaji (maternal uncle). I came to the city leaving my village behind. I shifted to Ludhiana. My uncle said ‘send him to the city with me’ and my parents said, ‘Yes, take him.’ My parents did not even ask me. I used to stay alone in a small room. I used to just go to school and come back, there was not any TV. I had a lot of time. Also, we did not have mobile phones back then, even if I had to call home or receive a call from my parents, it cost us money. So, I started becoming distant from my family."

Meanwhile, Diljit will soon commence his India tour. The excitement around his concert is sky-high, and his fans can't wait to witness his magic soon. On the work front, Diljit was recently seen in Amar Singh Chamkila and Crew.
