Dil Raju, the prominent Tollywood producer, has recently been appointed as the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation by the Telangana government. This significant role, confirmed through orders issued by Chief Executive Officer Shanti Kumari, will see him serve for a period of two years.

Born Venkataramana Reddy, Dil Raju began his illustrious career in the film industry as a distributor in 1990 with the movie Pelli Pandiri. His breakthrough as a producer came with the hit film Dil, which not only marked his entry into production but also earned him the moniker "Dil Raju." He is the founder of Sri Venkateswara Creations, a production house renowned for producing both high-budget blockbusters and smaller films, thus providing opportunities for many aspiring filmmakers and artists.

In an exciting new venture, Dil Raju has announced the launch of a new banner named Dreams, aimed at nurturing newcomers in the film industry. This initiative will be complemented by a dedicated website to support emerging talent.

Currently, Dil Raju is busy producing three films that are generating considerable buzz. The highly anticipated big-budget film Game Changer, directed by Shankar and featuring Ram Charan, is set to release on January 10. Following closely is Sankranti Aaynaam, directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring Venkatesh, which will hit theatres on January 14. Additionally, he is working on Thammudu, directed by Venu Sriram.

With his extensive experience and commitment to the growth of Telugu cinema, Dil Raju continues to be a pivotal figure in the industry, shaping its future while honouring its rich traditions.
