Diddy Warns Kanye in Prison Call After North West Song Controversy with Kim Kardashian
3 days ago | 5 Views
The camaraderie between Diddy and Kanye West continues to flourish even within the confines of federal prison. Just a day after it was disclosed that Kim Kardashian, the ex-wife of the "Heartless" rapper, had lost her composure regarding their daughter North West being implicated in the scandal surrounding the Bad Boy Records founder, the Shade Room acquired a startling recording of a phone conversation between the incarcerated rapper and Ye.
Recently, West unveiled a new track titled “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” which features his 11-year-old daughter, North West, alongside Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. This song was released on March 15 through X.
Shortly thereafter, TMZ reported that Kim Kardashian made efforts to prevent the song's release by trademarking her daughter's name. This situation has intensified the ongoing conflict between the estranged couple, with a source informing Page Six that the reality television star aims to “shield [her children] from Kanye’s controversial actions.”
In addition to the music release, Kanye has consistently reaffirmed his support for his “brother” Diddy, who is currently facing federal sex crime charges and awaiting trial.
Diddy warns Kanye West people are out to get them
In a recent disclosure, Combs cautioned Kanye during a phone conversation from prison, stating, “You need to be cautious out there because they are certainly trying to bring us down.”
“They won’t succeed, and they cannot do it. I will overcome this situation and reunite with you,” Diddy remarked, referencing his impending federal trial scheduled for May. “I will share the truth from the front lines,” the 55-year-old rapper expressed at one point during the call while incarcerated in Brooklyn. “This situation is extremely challenging, so you must remain vigilant.”
At another moment, the ‘Bad Boy for Life’ urged West to “enjoy himself” and to disregard those who are “wasting” his time.
“When I am released, I want to see you truly shine,” Diddy continued. “I need to witness you back on stage, genuinely rapping and performing. I dream about that.”
Brotherhood continues even behind prison gates: Kanye West tells Diddy he loves him
As the disgraced music executive conveyed to his fellow artist that they "have years and decades to confront these adversaries," West resonated with his sentiments, expressing that his passion for music had been rekindled. "Indeed, it’s time for me to seize the microphone and return to the stage. It feels as though I have rediscovered my love for music."
In due course, Combs also conveyed his appreciation to the "Power" rapper for reaching out to his seven children, especially since no one else had made the effort. Diddy expressed his gratitude, stating that it "meant so much" to him that Kanye West had taken "them under [his] wing."
The controversial Yeezy founder responded, "Absolutely. I care for you deeply, my friend. It feels as if you have been a guiding figure in my life, even when I was unaware of it, you know what I mean?"
