Diddy Accusers' Lawyer Slams Nikki Glaser for 'Horrible' Jokes at Golden Globes

Nikki Glaser, the comedian and host of the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, faced backlash from a lawyer representing the alleged victims of the controversial rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The 40-year-old comic surprised both the audience and viewers when she brought up Diddy's so-called “freak-offs,” claiming that authorities discovered 1,000 bottles of baby oil during a raid at his home.

“The afterparty isn’t going to be as exciting this year. But we have to keep going - ‘Stanley Tucci freak-off’ just doesn’t have the same vibe - no baby oil this time, just a lot of olive oil,” Glaser quipped.

Ariel Mitchell, who is representing some of the women claiming Diddy assaulted them, blasted Glaser for using her clients' suffering as the subject of a joke for the country's amusement.

“Ms. Glaser should be ashamed of herself,” the lawyer told the Daily Beast, expressing the feelings of her clients who “are never happy to have their trauma” laughed at.

Mitchell stated that it is understandable why the Golden Globes' viewership is “in the toilet”. However, the ratings have been rising since last year and Glaser's opening monologue has garnered appreciation.

Speaking to TMZ, she said, “I hope Glaser has never been the victim of an assault.”

Diddy, 54, is currently being held in Brooklyn and is scheduled to go on trial in May. Diddy has been charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.

Several civil lawsuits have been filed against Diddy, alleging that he sexually molested adolescents. However, his criminal indictment does not include any allegations against teenagers.

The disgraced rapper has refuted all accusations made against him. His attorneys have likewise insisted that he is innocent.

Glaser's jokes have been called 'terrible'

Some people slammed Glaser's comments as “horrible,” arguing that making jokes about child trafficking and sexual assault just makes light of the victims' suffering.

Viewers took to X to express their concerns, with one saying, “Maybe I’m being too sensitive, but Nikki Glaser’s jokes about Diddy… Yikes. Where’s the humor in the mass sexual assault and trafficking of minors?”

Another user added, “Nikki Glaser was killing it during that monologue, but then she had to mess it up with the Diddy joke, oh man;” while someone else questioned, “I’ll never get why Nikki Glaser thinks it’s okay to joke about Diddy, who has harmed kids;” and another remarked, “There’s just something off about a room full of celebrities laughing at a Diddy joke."
