Did Sivakarthikeyan take a dig at Dhanush?
Sivakarthikeyan attended the trailer launch event of Kottukkaali which was held in Chennai on Tuesday. Speaking at the event, he said, “I will not tell that I found somebody and I have given them an identity or that I have given them life and readied them. Because I have been said and conditioned that way. I am not that type of person and this is my small contribution of introducing someone, just like you introduce a friend. From the position you have given me as an actor, I want to use it correctly. My efforts will continue.”
Even though Sivakarthikeyan did not mention or take anyone’s name, many netizens on social media have been equating this statement of Sivakarthikeyan with Dhanush. It is to be noted that Sivakarthikeyan who had a television background of hosting shows, was seen in a supporting role in Dhanush-starrer Moonu. The latter also produced Sivakarthikeyan’s Ethir Neechal which was one of the actor’s earlier films to play the lead and proved to be successful.

About Kottukkaali
Kottukkaali is an upcoming Tamil film, starring Soori and Anna Ben in the lead roles. The film is directed by PS Vinothraj and is scheduled to hit theatres on August 23.
The film, which made a splash at the festival circuit, revolves around two families who are preparing for the wedding of their daughter, Meena, and son, Pandi. However, complications arise as Meena is in love with someone from a lower caste. The film unfolds after the wedding ceremonies are completed, and Meena's seemingly cold demeanour leads her family to believe she is possessed.
