Rasha Thadani on Raveena Tandon’s films

Rasha Thandani was prompted to list her mother Raveena's favorite films and dance sequences, to which she mentioned Aks, Mohra, Dulhe Raja, and Andaz Apna Apna, along with the song Akhiyon Se Goli Maare as her top picks. However, when questioned about whether she envisioned herself in any of her mother's films, she responded, “No, I can’t touch that and I won’t be able to.”

During the interview, Rasha also reflected on the fact that her mother was just two years younger than her when she made her Bollywood debut, and she recalled being told that Raveena would have an easier path, especially considering there was a time without vanity vans. Describing her mother as an inspiration, she remarked, “My mother has worked incredibly hard to achieve her current status. Her journey as an actress motivates me, and she also inspires me as an individual. She consistently carries herself with grace and elegance, regardless of the circumstances. The most admirable aspect is that she remains true to herself.”

Madhuri Dixit thinks Rasha Thadani can recreate her iconic number

Although Rasha remains hesitant to emulate Raveena's work, she may find inspiration in another actor's performances. Recently, during the IIFA Green Carpet event, Madhuri expressed her admiration for Rasha, stating, “Among the youngest ones, I like Rasha Thadani. Her dance is very graceful.” When inquired about which young actress could portray her in a potential remake of the iconic song "Ek Do Teen," Madhuri promptly mentioned Rasha.

Rasha made her film debut in "Azaad," which premiered in theaters on January 17 and became available on Netflix on March 14. The film also featured Aaman Devgan, Ajay Devgn’s nephew, in his first acting role.
