13 days ago | 5 Views

The Jewel Thief, starring Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat, was one of the most anticipated OTT releases of the week, but it may be pushed back at the last minute. The same is reportedly a step to denounce the attacks in Pahalgham. Netflix, the digital streaming service, may have hinted at the same, even though it is just conjecture at this point. The conjecture started here...

A tweet claiming Jewel Thief release is delayed

Although it was anticipated that Jewel Thief would be released on OTT on time, a tweet posted early in the morning has viewers wondering if the movie has indeed been delayed. Although there isn't much talk about it, the tweet certainly made people wonder whether the producers had taken a stance against the Pahalgham assaults and, as a result, changed the date of publication.

Jewel Thief streaming platform still says Coming on Friday

The Netflix, the streaming service, continues to claim that the movie starring Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat will be released on Friday. Although the streaming service typically converts it to streaming today on the day of its debut, the claim that it is Coming on Friday raises concerns about a potential delay in the film's release.

Who all are a part of Jewel Thief?

The protagonist of Jewel Thief is Saif Ali Khan, who plays Jaideep Ahlawat in Broken News. In the film, Kunal Kapoor plays the role of an inspector, who is also known as the actor in Kaun Kitney Paani Mein.

Jewel Thief follows the narrative of a heist carried out by a charming robber (played by Saif). The goal is to acquire the Red Sun. Jaideep Ahlawat's Rajan Aulakh hires him, and during the course of the film, the two engage in intense disputes regarding the actual jewel.

Other movies which have released today

The films Ground Zero by Emraan Hashmi and Phule by Pratik Gandhi are currently available in cinemas. Although Ground Zero represents Emraan, the star of Why Cheat India?, returning to Bollywood, Anurag Kashyap's Phule has been released after a controversy. It's still unclear if the movies can gain traction at the box office over the weekend because they both have a slow start.
