Veteran actors Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan shared the screen space after years in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film was well-received by the audiences and the duo made sure to leave no stone unturned to impress the audience. Now, taking to his social media account, Dharmendra shared a throwback picture with Jaya and praised the actress.

Dharmendra is all praises for Jaya Bachchan

Today, on December 1, Dharmendra took to his Instagram account and shared a throwback picture with his Guddi co-star Jaya Bachchan. The picture looks like it was taken on the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, where the two shared the screen space as husband and wife.

In the caption, the actor called Jaya his 'loving doll' and also praised her talent. He wrote: "Guddi, will always be my loving doll. She is a world-class artist, and she always talks high about me. (From Guddi to Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani)," he wrote.

For the uninitiated, Guddi is a 1971 film that starred Jaya as a schoolgirl who has a crush on Dharmendra in the film. Directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the film is still known for its unique storyline and powerful performances. The duo recently reunited in 2023 for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, also starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, and Kshitee Jog. The family drama was loved by the audiences and Jaya's quirky performance and Dharam Ji's romantic role were appreciated by fans.
