Choreographer and content creator Dhanashree Verma has caught everyone's attention with a mysterious social media update, which seems to touch on the buzz around her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. This comes right after some viral pics surfaced of Yuzvendra at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai, hanging out with RJ Mahvash, leading fans to wonder if there's something more going on between them.

Dhanashree Verma shares a mysterious post

On Monday, Dhanashree took to Instagram Stories to share a note, which read, “Blaming women is always in fashion”. The post comes after Yuzvendra was spotted with Mahvansh at the match and people made fresh comments about Dhanashree's split. Earlier in the day, she also unarchived all her photos with her estranged husband on Instagram.

Mahvansh shared some awesome videos and pics from the match after India clinched the victory. Yuzvendra popped up in a lot of them, but his face was kept out of sight. She captioned it, “Kaha tha na jita ke aungi (I told you I'd make them win) I’m the good luck charm for team India.”

One of the videos featured Mahvash celebrating with the whole stadium as fireworks lit up the night sky. The other photos captured the same festive vibe. The last pic showcased her outfit for the evening.

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal are going through a divorce

The chatter about Dhanashree and Yuzvendra's split kicked off when they both unfollowed each other on Instagram, leading to a flurry of speculation. The couple got married in December 2020 in a small ceremony in Gurugram after meeting during the Covid-19 pandemic when he asked her for dance lessons.

Last month, Chahal's lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, confirmed that the divorce paperwork had been filed. In a statement to Hindustan Times, he mentioned, "Mr. Chahal has reached a mutual consent settlement for the divorce with Mrs. Verma. A petition for divorce by mutual consent has been submitted to the Hon’ble Family Court in Bandra. The case is currently under review."

There were also whispers that Dhanashree was asking for ₹60 crore in alimony. However, her family quickly shot down those rumors with a statement to the press. They said, "We are extremely upset about the unfounded claims regarding the alimony amount. To be clear—no such figure has been requested, demanded, or even suggested. These rumors are completely false. It's irresponsible to publish unverified information that drags both parties and their families into unnecessary speculation. Such reckless reporting only causes harm, and we ask the media to be more careful, verify facts before spreading misinformation, and respect everyone’s privacy."
